About
Tower & Tactic started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of lane setups at two in the morning. At some point the notes got long enough that a website made more sense than a messaging thread. So here we are, still arguing about wave timing, just in public now.
We focus on strategy and tower defence because that's what we actually enjoy, and it shows. A genre you love is a genre you'll poke at until it breaks, and that's exactly the kind of attention a review deserves. When something drifts outside that lane — a racer, an RPG — we cover it too, because a good game is a good game.,We pick titles the boring way: we install a lot of them and uninstall most of them. What survives a full week of daily play gets considered for the catalogue. We care about controls that don't fight your thumbs, difficulty that ramps instead of spiking, and whether there's a real reason to open the app tomorrow.,Nobody here is paid to like anything. If a game frustrates us, we say so, and we try to explain why so you can decide whether the same thing would bother you. Tastes differ, and a low score from us might be your next favourite. That's fine — we just want the reasoning to be useful.
Marek Dvořák — Marek has been building tower defence mazes since flash games ran in browsers, and now runs the editorial side of Tower & Tactic. He still refuses to play on easy.
